When Pastor Ted spoke quite some time ago, he told a story of a very poor family he had known. Their story really touched me, and I asked him for a copy of the mother's quote he used. I look at it from time to time and thought it might be encouraging to someone else, too.

"There are two ways of being rich, having a lot or wanting very little. The latter way is easiest for us. Many people make themselves miserable by wanting more than they can ever have. We need to learn how to get on with the business of living for God."
