She loves me!!!

So, this morning Madelyn is sitting on my lap and I'm doing my usual silly dad talk when I get this cute little grin. At first I thought it was gas. What was I thinking? Most girls don't smile at you after they fart. Most of Madelyn's preceding smiles had been connected with some sort of abdominal discomfort,however, but not this time. She looked right into my eyes and smiled every time I smiled at her. What a joyful moment that was! I'm looking forward to seeing that smile grow over the coming years. She loves me and I love her!
