Train Ride

We are at Mom and Dad's house today for our family Christmas. Mom and Dad decided to give all of the grandkids a train trip for Christmas this year, and today is the big day. They hired a bus driver to take the whole crew - 21 of us - to Ottumwa where we will eat at Happy Joe's, catch the train and ride to Burlington. The bus driver will pick us up there and take us back to their house.

The train was scheduled to depart Ottumwa around 9:30 this morning. It is running a little behind, though, and the last we heard it will be leaving Ottumwa around 7:30 tonight instead. We are hoping it doesn't get pushed back much further, or the kids will be asleep by the time we get there. :)

The kids are very excited about the train trip. What a fun and memorable gift!
