My Mom
My mom is a great lady. I enjoy getting to spend time with her, and she has a knack for making me "belly laugh". A few weeks ago she called me on her way home from St. Louis. She and Dad* had just stopped at a Wal-Mart to grab a few items. While they were there, she decided to run to the bathroom. She breezed into the empty bathroom and chose a stall. She was in there a few minutes as she decided to take the time to look over her receipt. Finally, she opened the stall door and walked out to find a line of men waiting for a space and two men using the urinal. Totally stunned and embarrassed, she looked at the man at the front of the line and stammered, "Did I get in the wrong bathroom?" He looked at her and, rather than stating the obvious, slowly answered, "May---be." She threw her hands to her forehead, groaned "Oh, no!", and ran out.
Her explanation - The men and women's bathrooms were opposite of what they are in her Wal-Mart, and old people are creatures of habit.
That made me belly laugh.
Happy Birthday, Mom. :)
