First Tooth!

Madelyn's first tooth finally broke through in the night!

I was already planning my plea to Ernie after he gets home today. It was going to go something like, "I know you have been up all hours of the day and night since Sunday, but now that you're home, can I please sleep downstairs tonight and leave Madelyn with you so when she cries all night because of tooth pain, you can stay up and hold her and rock her and cuddle her and coo at her and tell her how much you've missed her (I was going to have to make this part seem very appealing) while I am downstairs sleeping?"

Maybe I won't have to use it.
