Ernie called me on his way home last Saturday afternoon. "Hey, Mindy, I think I'll take the kids ice fishing. Doesn't that sound like fun?"

No, actually it sounded cold and miserable, so I stayed home with Madelyn.

They came home an hour or so later - cold and miserable...with no fish.

Another memory made.
