A Day to Ski

Joshua nor Abigail had ever been snow skiing. They were very excited to try it at Winter Park, Colorado. I wasn't skiing, of course, because I was needed with Madelyn, so it was up to Ernie to teach both of the kids. He took Abigail out first and as I watched their first 10 minutes together, I had my doubts that the lessons would get very far.


Something amazing must have happened in the 45 minutes after I went back to the lodge with Madelyn. When I went returned to the bunny hill to swap Joshua for Abigail - she was skiing!
I was so excited for her. She was beaming and so proud. She couldn't wait for her "turn" again.
