Our Trip
We spent last week taking a train trip to Colorado and back with the Moore and Mattes families. It was a trip worth remembering, so please humor me and the amount of pictures I will probably post. With 200 or so pictures to pick from, it's impossible to narrow it down to only five!
We decided to travel light. How much stuff could six adults, 5 young kids and 2 infants need for a week in Colorado anyway? Well...
We pretty much took over the train station. Our family alone had 3 large suitcases, a small suitcase, 2 backpacks, 2 blanket rolls, a cooler, a briefcase, a diaper bag, a stroller, car seat, coats, a camera bag, a camcorder bag - and three kids. (That was after eliminating items!) The other 2 families fared no better. We had been informed we would have approximately 4 minutes to get on the train. Did I mention that we couldn't check luggage at the station from which we were departing? Every item had to be "carry-on"? We were a bit nervous.

Joshua excited about spotting the train in the distance. The mad scurry of people and luggage began.
