alive and well

So, we haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Life is going well. Our family is growing and enjoying the fruit of homeschooling. I was amazed today that Joshua read his first actual book! Then Abigail (preschool) had me sit down while she read me a complete paragraph! Mindy is doing an awesome job and we are loving this curriculum. Tomorrow is Mindy's 36th birthday. As tradition would have it the kids and I made her a homemade cheesecake. This year it was an Ultimate Turtle Cheesecake so we'll see how it turns out. The kids have spent the last week ironing out the details, making cards, blowing secrets and laughing alot. Looking forward to a fun day with the family tomorrow.
